Toulch Rimless Debuts Phi Collection

Quick Take: Independent eyewear brand Toulch Rimless, formerly known as QED, debuts Phi, the first in a series of rimless eyewear concepts built on a new mounting architecture.
Specifics: Toulch Rimless’ patented mounting system eliminates the need for components such as bushings, washers, nuts and other disposable parts, the brand said, replacing them with a reusable precision set screw. This makes assembly simple, intuitive and quick, offering enhanced structural integrity and no loosening. Phi’s drill geometry is reminiscent of the Greek letter Φ. The bridge and end pieces of Phi are built from a single layer of laser-cut sheet metal. The collection made its official U.S. debut at EYECON in March 2026.
Selling Point: “Our objective was to develop a mounting system that is quick and easy to assemble or disassemble and technically enhances rimless for both the professional who dispenses it and the wearer who experiences it,” Toulch Rimless’ founders said. “We invented this technology to respect the craft of opticians and labs. Every element of the system is intended to save time, reduce frustration and deliver consistent, reliable results. It’s innovation rooted in real optical experience.” Toulch Rimless received the Silmo d’Or Award for Technological Innovation in Eyewear in 2025.
